You get some of Knox’s special meat stew. Indeed. A movie that deserves a lot more love, somewhat of a running theme over the past 2 weeks of screen shots.

i agree. very good and unique movie. picked it up for $3 on DVD too. can’t beat that.

and come on… secretly, you all would try the stew if you had the chance… just to see if it really worked… and what it tasted like… !!!

The score by Nyman and Albarn is awesome, elevating the strange tone of the movie to greater heights. A very strange beast that I throw at the uninitiated when ever I get the chance.

If I had a personal top 10 films favourite film scores, this would definitely be on it. I have a couple of CDs of portions of film scores (From Morricone to Poledouris) and the Ravenous score gets a lot of play.

Agreed Kurt, beautifully off kilter theme and the score is just haunting and intense at times without missing a beat. I Just wish these two fellas would do another collaboration. Ah Morricone, recently got the Morricone ‘Crime and Dissonance’ discs which is a compilation of the Maestro’s early work. Wonderful experiments of dark Jazz and a whole lot of european lady moans to boot, well worth the price tag.
