I say wow. A few weeks back I posted the first teaser for the live action adaptation Blood: The Last Vampire and shared some concerns that though it looked good, it seemed to be following very closely to the anime which I thoroughly enjoyed but found a bit lacking on story. Still, good looks will go a long way with me and I like the basic story enough to be interested.

Now there’s this fancy new English language trailer (dubbed?) which is surprisingly good in providing a little more story while also selling the film on what folks are used to: gorgeous slow motion wushu along with the selling point that this comes care of the producers of Hero and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I just hope people don’t forget that this is a movie about vampires…

Honestly, I don’t care. With this marketing strategy, I may actually get to see it on the big screen.
