Let’s just say, Judd Apatow seems to be taking a slightly different approach than I expected with his latest film. It doesn’t look anything at all like I imagined it would. I really don’t have an opinion one way or another, although some of Sandler’s best work has come from his darker roles (Punch Drunk Love, Reign Over Me).
I have no idea. What do you guys think?
Well the trailer wasn’t full of laughs but this does look very good. A light-hearted dramedy. I’ll probably see it.
why is nobody talking about this? you guys aren’t THAT snobby here are you? it looks like mr. Apatow is taking a step in a different direction and maturing in his content.
this also looks more scripted and less improv than his other movies.
