Liked PUSH well enough. It needed that extra little "spark" to really capture me, but it was fun. You're right on Dakota Fanning - she just might successfully make that transition. I thought she was really good in this.

If you're a fan of "Heroes" and would like to see a fairly straight-forward, 100 minute version of the show, Push is a good place to start.

The movers' fist fight scene in the warehouse at the end was pretty cool. I also like the screaming guys (Bleeders) - they are bad ass and creepy looking.

Agreed - Bell was pretty awesome. Too bad they didn't cast him in the lead.

Agreed I like the basic idea of the story but I wasn't a huge fan of the movie. It really did bore me and that may have been the mix of Christensen and Jackson - neither held any appeal for me. And as much as I liked the idea, that film didn't get me interested enough to want to see anything else taking place in that world.

Jumper was not "bad" all the way around. I stand by my review. How Hayden uses his power is very realistic I think. I like that approach - it's done better in Jumper than it is done even in Hancock I think. It's so much more believable in Jumper. (e.g. using his power to get a lot of money or instead of reaching two feet to get to the remote control for his TV he simply jumps there. I love those little details.

Also, the way the technique looks and sounds in the movie is pretty awesome. The car chase is ridiculously cool and everywhere they jump is exotic and fun. There are a couple fight sequences that are kind of poorly edited, but all in all, I had more fun with Jumper than watching Iron Man.

No way! Jumper was bad all around and I was *bored* to tears sitting through it. The basic premise was interesting enough but the rest of it was disastrous. On the other hand, I had a great time watching Push and I would have been happy to see the story wrap up with more than the hanging sequel ready closing scene.

I didn't have a lot of love for Jumper (though I like the idea of the story) but I had a lot of fun with this - plus the action sequences and acting are much better.

Looks sort of like Jumper, which I had quite a lot of fun with and was unfairly shit on.
