What is the status of the full-length Hobo With a Shotgun film?

“Things are looking great. We have an executive producer from Toronto on board who is helping us get our financing together for the project. His name is Niv Fichman and he just produced Blindness and Passchendaele. So, hopefully you’ll hear about us kicking it into production in 2009.”

I want Hobo NOW! All other films in production should be halted until HOBO has been made, then Machette, then Jane Austin vs Zombies. Only then should other projects be restarted.

The HOBO guys (Rob & Jason) are experiencing a very very positive reaction to their Christmas Horror picture, TREEVENGE (which is a real hoot!) which just kicked some serious ass as SUNDANCE (apparently, at least one member of THE BEASTIE BOYS who was at the screening, offered personal Kudos). Maybe they are going to get HOBO off the ground after all. Apparently the lead actor is a bit tricky to work with though. So don’t hold your breath for that one any time soon.
