I take your sparkly vampire and raise you lesbian vampires and no, I’m not kidding.

The synopsis for Phil Claydon’s film Lesbian Vampire Killers is almost as ludicrous as the title. According to IMDb, the menfolk of a rural Welsh town send out two young men as sacrifice to a band of Lesbian Vampires who have taken the women hostage. I’m assuming that carnage ensues but looking at the teaser poster for the movie, not without some heavy sexual antics.

Is this necessary? Well, as necessary as Zombie Strippers but if nothing else, I’m loving their placeholder of a website which features the tagline “What more could you possibly want in a movie?” along with super-cheesy stripper music (you simply must check it out for yourself). Not sure it’ll be my cup of tea but I must admit that against my better judgement, I’m actually curious to see a trailer.

Lesbian Vampire Killers is scheduled to open in the UK on March 20th and I expect it won’t see the light of day in the US outside of a DVD release.
