It is nice to see the art of spoof is alive and well with this one (and the Edgar Wright/Simon Pegg films). Actually while I think about it, Blaxploitation spoofs have been pretty solid, from Dolemite on up to I’m Gonna Git You Sucka and Undercover Brother.
First off, love the new Twitch player. Second, this is the best trailer I’ve seen since Grindhouse. The narrator is hilarious and there are so many lines in here that are just gold.

Yea, the trailer goes on so long that you kind of expect the film not to exist (like Hobo with a Shotgun or Thanksgiving, etc.) I’m looking forward to seeing this when it comes out though, just to see if they can pull it off.

I think the original trailer was basically shot as a trailer but not as a full movie. There are many scenes in the new trailer that differ from the original but contain the same dialogue.
I heard that what they did was using existing footage from 70′s films to fill in the action and stuff like that so it’s not all new stuff that is made to look old.
I love the trailer but Rodney said that the film wasn’t very good. A low down dirty shame if true.
I’m hoping that Rodney is wrong. Agreed that it would be a shame if this isn’t as good as it looks.
