I have yet to see The Wrestler, but I have intended to since learning about the project. Rourke really is a fantastic actor, and I am a big fan of Darren Aronofsky. This interview gave me a whole new level of respect for Rourke, and only increased my want to see this film.

Shit that interview just blew me away. It’s always fantastic to see these guys, who have basically fucked up their life for so long come back stronger than ever and full of grace.
And I still have to see the damn movie.
This was an excellent movie. Mickey was haunting. I was thinking about his character for days. What an incredible performance. I think Mickey Rourke will be in a lot of movies coming up. He is a talent that directors are going to want to work with.
