As for Crossing Over, wow does that look overly cheesy and melodramatic. But I admit along with everyone else here, the cast has already clinched my money. I’ll see anything and EVERYTHING with Harrison Ford in it. And hey, I like Babel and Crash a lot. So yeah.

I’m one of he guys who really liked “Across the Universe.” I agree with “kare” in the above comment. Visually speaking, that movie was highly creative and ambitious. I also liked the music a lot too. I have no problem with cover songs – especially in a “stage-play” sort of way.

And I too really liked the cast and especially Jim Sturgess. I think he could be a big star if he picks the right roles. He could go the way of Brad Pitt if he plays his cards right. He was great in 21, even if the movie sucked.

I too will watch this because of Jim Sturgess. Across the Universe was the most original, creative piece of work anyone has done in long time. Julie Taymor is the very best at her art. If it wasn’t for his portrayal of Jude in Across the Universe, Jim Sturgess would not be known. He did an incredible job in both Across the Universe and “21″. I don’t think most people understand how hard it is to bare your soul to the profession of acting for the entertainment of the public. It is incredibly hard and humbling.

I will watch Harrison Ford starring in a reading of Encyclopedia Britanica, Part 1: A-M.
Hopefully he throws some good punches and stares really dramatically. He has one of those death stares. It’ll burn your soul if you look in his eyes too long.

I like Sturgess and agree – he’s shown great potential. He’s in the upcoming “Fifty Dead Men Walking” and one of the best things in the movie. It’s too bad the rest of it is awful.

I can’t wait to see Jim Sturgess in something better than Across the Universe and 21. I’m skeptical about this one though. It has potential, but I think it does look a lot like Crash as far as theme and style are concerned. And Crash was … well I’m not going to be the one to start that debate again. We shall see …
