  1. My top three would be:

    3. Westworld
    2. Runaway
    1. The Andromeda Strain

Surprized didn’t hear any love for Runaway, I always find it funny too look at what was once forward thinking for tech that now seems nostalgic. Westworld would have scored higher but it still scares me like mad.. but it does have Yul in it.

Michael Crichton will definitely be missed.

  2. Colleen says:

I can’t speak for Dale, or Marina, but I have never seen Runaway. Therefore its not in my top 3.

  3. Kurt Halfyard says:

Runaway rules, at least it did when I was a teenager. Probably saw that film half a dozen times. I mean what’s not to love about creepy spider robots with syringes, or bullets that turn corners (i.e. Awesomeness!)

Also, as a piece of pure entertaiment, I adore THE GREAT TRAIN ROBBERY, and as a piece of great goofy stupidity, CONGO rules.

  4. Another great thing about Runaway: Gene Simmons is great creepy bad guy.

Never seen Great Train Robbery, and I have a weird soft spot for Sphere – mind you he didn’t direct that one.

  5. Marina Antunes says:

Added Runaway to my zip list – Gene Simmons put it over the edge for me.

As for Sphere – yeah…it`s not a great movie and not even particularly entertaining but when it`s on TV, I can`t help but watch. Should rent that at some point to see it from beginning to end – it`s been a few years.
