Oldman is actually playing a Rabbi in this one.
The trailer starts out rather uninteresting but the later parts of it are really good IMO. I really dig the freaky imagery and it looks like it packs a punch or two.

1. “From Producer Michael Bay” made me laugh. I know that wasn’t intended but I couldn’t help myself.

2. I like Goyer. I’m still hopeful he’ll pull off another “Dark City” in his career.

3. This looks fairly run of the mill.

4. I do like the gimmicky silent bits in the trailer.

5. Some of the visuals are direct rip-offs from other movies though they do look updated. I get everything from The Exorcist to Constantine.

6. The chick looks like Megan Fox.

7. I’ll still give it a chance. It may surprise.
