   This is great. I’m excited to see Ballast, I’ve been hearing great things about the film from all over, and the whole execution of this film seems right up my alley. Fantastic!

   It was the first film that I saw at VIFF that:

   1) made me cry
   2) made me want to go home and meditate on it rather than sitting through another film

   I’m looking forward to seeing it again. There are some amazing clips, including the breathtaking opening scene at the film’s website.
