I am currently sitting outside of the AMC in Toronto and I’ll be picking up my tickets for TIFF shortly. I figured I’d just check in with and update and also post a set of questions I heard on a web design Podcast of all places.
My plan for the day is to wander around downtown Toronto till 5:05 when I will go catch Boy A at the AMC. After that I’ll wander over to the Bloor and I’ll catch The Passenger at 9:25. If you are in TO and feel like meeting up just show up 15 minutes before each movie and I’ll hang out with you.
Okay, now here is the series of questions. The premise is that you are stuck in a shopping mall when Zombies attack. 1) If you can only have one weapon , what would the weapon be? 2) If you can have anyone person with you who would it be? 3) What song do you want to have playing in the background while you are killing zombies?
Oh and one other question… does anyone know where there is a Booster Juice around here?

1. A machete or a baseball bat, never runs out of bullets.
2. Someone who doesn’t get on your nerves and maybe have sex with from time to time.
3. This is a classic zombie killing tune. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HR4hp_-kSI
1) Crowbar.
2) Sylvestor Stallone
3) “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”
There is a long list of reasons why a crowbar is the best weapon of choice for zombie break infestations. But I won’t get into it here.
I’m out of the line up now after about 1 hour.
Here are my answers:
1) One of the arms off of one of the zombies that I kill with my bare hands.
2) Elvis from Bubba Ho-Tep
3) All you need is love from the Beetles. It was cool in the Prisoner and it would be cool here.
Off to wander the streets now.
@swarez – O-Zone…ROFLMAO That’s freakin’ hysterical
1) Crowbar
2) Mick St. John (http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0030400/) – see Swarez’s commentary for reasoning – sort of (also speaks to my current obsession)
3) Probably some Rammstein. Or NIN. Or maybe Pink Floyd
Cricket Bat
Someone that’s a slow runner.
“Why do birds suddenly appear”… actually anything by the Carpenters.
There is a Booster Juice in the Atrium, John:
20 Dundas West, there’s a mall entrance just west of the Thai restraurant with the street patio on the north side of Dundas, or also north of the Pickel Barrel on the west side of Yonge Street. It’s in the basement, somewhere in the middle. There’s also a Jugo Juice in the Eaton Centre. Level 1, just north of the Old Navy (down two escalators at the Dundas entrance).
For killing zombies:
1) Metal Baseball Bat
2) The Joker, Mads Mikkelsen, or Jim Carrey
3) “Make Your Own Kind Of Music” by Mama Cass Elliot
This says it all
