   I’m actually quite looking forward to Babylon A.D. if it is half as good as SUNSHINE, well, I’ll be pleased.

   This is a guaranteed bomb at the Box Office though. The internet folks who like this sort of viral marketing goofiness will probably be the films only audience. That makes it about $10 Million. Dunno how much the film cost though.

   Speaking of Sunshine I just rewatched it a few nights ago. The first two-thirds of the film is astonishingly good, if that quality had been kept throughout the last third, I am not at all hesitant to say it would probably have been a mastrpiece. But once THAT plot point comes into full swing (or rather comes in out of nowhere) the movie takes a nosedive.

   With the exception of the last couple of minutes (and particularly the last 15 seconds or so) the last segment of the film is like a badly shot and edited slasher film that dampens the film down from utterly fantastic to very good. In the words of Marge Gunderson – “It’s a real shame.”
