There are not many actors that make me physically recoil but wow hopkins always does that, what an overrated ham factory he is and I got to say Joe Johnston that guy just makes me sleepy. But I agree with Kurt, the trailer didn't do much for me, poor buildup and basically just a series of seemingly random shots. This trailer looks rather uninspired, but then again, I'm hopefull that they went with in a more subtle direction that doesn't translate well to a trailer over the bombastic Van Helsing approach. I'm very happy that they went with practical makeup effects over CGI, because CGI stands-out pretty gawd-awful in these types of period pieces. I have a strong dislike of Anthony Hopkins, but that is more than outweighed by Hugo Weaving and Benicio del Toro. I guess this could go either way. I agree that I'd like to see a Quicktime trailer.
