    Australia - Vogue Shoot

I‘m in love. Even if Baz Luhrmman’s film, the war epic Australia, is bad, something I highly doubt, it’s the one film that continually takes my breath away with its beauty.

We’ve posted pictures before, and even the trailer, and now we get a few more photos care of Vogue and photographer Annie Leibovitz. I look at these and I just want to be transported away.

Interestingly enough, there was also an interesting post over at Cinematical regarding cinematographer Mandy Walker, one of the few women in the business. If all goes according to expectation, she will likely the first woman to get an Oscar nomination for her work on Luhrmman’s film. If the bits we’ve seen so far are any indication, she’s definitely on the right track to making history.

The rest of the photos from “Vogue” are tucked under the seat!

I didn’t think I would, but after the trailer, I’m looking forward to seeing this. However, maybe it’s just me, but these photos really looked Photoshopped, and not in a good way. That one with both Hugh (on horseback) and Nicole looks like something somebody put together on a computer to make a wallpaper. I did watch the video that was attached to the link, and maybe it was just the magazine spread that made it go that way…
