I was one of the people who had no interest in Timur Bekmambetov’s upcoming movie Wanted. I enjoyed Night Watch and Day Watch but the previous trailer just made Wanted look like a Matrix rip off. That has all changed now that I have have seen the Russian Redband trailer. The trailer hits all the right notes perfectly and I will now be there opening weekend to catch this.

I like this trailer a lot more than the sanitized NA trailers. Very nice.
Just got around to watching this, and it looks like a great SFX showcase, and definitely has the vibe of Daywatch going on. Maybe it is the lack of cosy/trite Morgan Freeman voice-over or the the absence of Angelina Jolie spouting about the same, but this looks a heck-of-a-lot better indeed.
Will this be the ‘good’ version of Shoot ‘em up?
I was totally thinking that the lack of Jolie is what makes this trailer so much better also. I didn’t consider the Freeman one but yeah you are probably right.
