FLASH! AAAAA AAAAA! SAVIOR OF THE UNIVERSE!
Yeah thats it and I just watched this again last night. It is such a cheesy fun romp that I have a hard time imagining how they are going to remake it.
LOVE Flash Gordon…I was the perfect age when it came out, and then it was re-played countless times on cable for about a year. I think I watched it every time. Cheesy, yes…but as you said, that’s what makes is so awesome.
I just can’t imagine anyone making a film like this today. This looks like a gay, drag musical on steroids. It’s so over the top and campy that you can’t resist it. It’s also amazing that the director of Get Carter would direct a far out film like this.
