Tropic Thunder Redband Trailer

Just like after watching the first trailer, I’m digging the vibe I get from Tropic Thunder’s redband trailer. I am definitely expecting this to have some jokes that aren’t even worth a slight grin, but man, oh man… this is going to be one epic role for Robert Downey Jr. (the main reason why this movie will be pulled from the pits of mediocrity).

One way or another, this should be a lot of fun and a good way to end the summer movie season come August 15.

  1. I like the little poke towards Eddie Murphy.

  2. as much as I want to watch this, I’m purposely avoiding red band trailers for movies I already know I want to see. This looks great already and to see stuff that I’d rather see for the first time in the trailer will partly wreck it for me.

Though I love hearing what others have to say - if they say it’s good, then I’m even more excited about the obvious greatness of RDJ.

  3. I think this is going to be pretty awesome. Great fun all the way. Fantastic cast by the way.

  4. Man this looks so baddddd!! I was so hoping this would be funny with a cast that has Jack Black, RDJ, and Ben Stiller but man the jokes weren’t even funny! Looks like another rental for me.
