Banners from Cannes

by John Allison
May 14th, 2008

There probably isn’t anyone here around Row Three who wouldn’t give up their left arm to be wandering around Cannes right now. Since that is not going to happen** I figured I’d point you over to JoBlo.com to see some banners and other cool stuff that has been set up. My favourite is:

cannes-jcvd

One of the commenters over at JoBlo made me laugh pretty hard when they asked why Lance Henriksen was on the JCVD poster.

**While none of us are actually at Cannes (this year anyway), we do have a review for the film that opened the festival - Fernando MeirellesBlindness (here)

  2. JCVD sounds like a film format that didn’t make it…like VCR tapes had at one point competed with JCVD tapes as well…and now you can only get JCVD on ebay.

  5. Lance Henrikson LOL. Also kind of looks like Edward James Olmos from BG.
