Why didn’t they get the guy who played Bush on That’s My Bush. That guy also did a serious TV movie as Bush.
Or maybe the guy who’s Bush’s favorite Bush impersonator.

Fuck, Will Farrell did a great job as Bush on SNL. Brolin has such a gravely a deep voice, I don’t see him doing a good impersonation of his voice. But then we will have to wait and see.

I have to agree with Kurt. Josh Brolin already played Shrub in No Country for Old Men. LOL. No, seriously, I don’t see the point in a movie about a man still in office and dealing with events so recent. I’m not sure such a film can be historically accurate. I mean, it takes a bit of distance to achieve some objectivity when it comes to historic events.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to make an historically biopic about the times we’re living. Kind of a time capsule for future generations. I think it’s a cool project and I love the casting.

That there is Josh Brolin? Holy mother. I didn’t recognize him.

As for the film itself – if nothing else people will see it our of curiosity (that’s why I’d see it) but I’m not sure about it either. Doesn’t sound like much of a winner to me.

The way this is cast is almost like the reverse of Southland Tales, but also in a bad way… Stone picked everyone seemingly based on appearances…

…its like if they had cast Glenn Danzig as Wolverine…

Yeah, this is stupid. Maybe the movie will end being awesome, but I’m pretty skeptical. That’s the first pic I’ve seen of Brolin as the commander in chief. I would never have recognized Brolin.. but he doesn’t really like Bush though either.

He looks like Billy Bob Thornton.

I mean, didn’t Josh Brolin already do a Bush Impression in No Country For Old Men? Think about it: Steal the money, and stay the course no matter how many ridiculous obstacles keep piling up or zealots stalk the nation? Why stay the course, well because there is no exit strategy once you’ve dived in head first from greed.
