Diesel in Babylon A.D. Teaser Trailer
Now we know that original speculation about the upcoming sci-fi action film Babylon A.D. being cut in half was exaggerated but I’m still a bit concerned for the film starring Vin Diesel, Michelle Yeoh, Gérard Depardieu and Charlotte Rampling mostly because it seems to have been in production for ever and it is only now seeing the light of day.
The film is scheduled to open in France on August 27th and in the US on August 29th but the French distributors aren’t holding back and they’ve released a great looking new poster along with a teaser which gives us the first “official” look at the upcoming film. Doesn’t give us much but it sure looks nice!

I want to see this, being a sci-fi fan, but I’m still worried about winding up with a truncated studio version rather than the director’s vision. I’ll probably just wait for director’s cut DVD instead. It does look good though.
