Right on the heels of the the first released photos and teaser for Tropic Thunder comes the full-length theatrical trailer. The interest around these parts seems to be pretty minimal so far (save myself and maybe Andrew) and I’m not sure why, especially considering how much we gush over Robert Downey Jr. Now that the trailer is out, I’ll be even more surprised if there is little talk about this. It looks like it’s going to be a pretty silly movie, but the kind of silly goodness that we can feel good about laughing at. Which is great news, considering how proportionately few funny comedies are actually made each year. And as expected, RDJ looks like he is going to completely steal the show here.

Yeah, I think this looks great. The fact that it’s not a parody of a war film, but a parody of a movie being made about a war is what weill probably save this.
Downey looks hilariously terrific (as ALWAYS) and from early reports I had no idea Coogan was in this either. bitchin.

I’m sorry but this looks lame. I might give it a try but with this I’ve just about lost all hope with Ben Stiller.
