Dickinson Brings Crowley to Life

Thank you CBC!
Direct from the webpages of the Canadian Broadcast Corporation comes news that Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson has written the script for an upcoming horror film titled Chemical Wedding. Starring Simon Callow, the film tells the story of a shy professor who brings back to life Aleister Crowley, influential member of several occult organizations including the Golden Dawn and once described as Britain’s most evil man. Directed by Julian Doyle, the film is scheduled to premiere at Cannes and then go into release in the UK this summer.
I don’t know what’s better: the fact that Dickinson wrote the script and will be producing the film score from Iron Maiden tunes or than this is bound to be shlocky, horror fun.
No trailers or photos kicking around yet but I’ll be sure to keep you updated.
