  1. rot says:

I caught a bit of the show, not much to say other than Daniel Day Lewis is one classy man. Half of his acceptance speech was celebrating the works of Heath Ledger.

Also Mickey Rooney is still alive?!

  2. John Allison says:

I just don’t get the Ruby Dee one. Sure she was good in it but that role just didn’t stand out like any of the others.

  3. I’m with you John on Ruby Dee. I can’t say I remember much of her performance at all.

As for the rest of the winners, no big surprises aside from Javier Bardem. That supporting actor category is wicked. I keep jumping back and forth from a couple of the nominees. That’s one of the more interesting races.

  4. Goon says:

echo chamber here – wtf is with this Rudy Dee shit?

  5. Mercurie says:

I have to say there weren’t any surprises on the SAG awards. I don’t feel so bad about missing the show now.

  6. andrew dykstra says:

ruby dee’s character barely made a dent in the American Gangster story, and not nearly enough of one to earn her a win. don’t get it… other than that, i’m pretty satisfied with the winning film choices

looks like The Sopranos went out with a bang (and the more i think about the finale, the more i like it). and i adore the fact that 30 Rock got some love. that show is the funniest thing on tv right now.
