Star Wars Character Flash Drives

December 4th, 2007

This is so totally geeky and mainstream, I’m not sure it really belongs here but I know there’s loads of love for Star Wars out there so I couldn’t help but share.

Neil over at Film School Rejects has tracked down ‘designer’ flash drives that, you guessed it, look like your favourite SW characters.

These suckers are not cheap, they’ll each set you back $50US but they’re fun to look at and for the die hard collector a must have (and if this is you, you can get them here).

My favourite is below and the rest are after the jump!

Darth Vader USB

Boba USB

Chewy USB

Hans USB

Trooper USB

R2D2 USB

Leia USB

Luke USB

  1. So is it David Prowse’s face when you lift up the Vader Mask or an artificially aged Hayden Christiansen?

Thus proving that Star Wars junk can penetrate any market! :)

I’m not one for movie related merchandise. Give me the DVD and that’s about it. But to each their own. Pretty slick designs on them, But you just know you’ll lose the cap pretty quick!

  2. Yeah, I have a feeling they may just be for show…

  3. The Stormtrooper one is killer. I don’t like the face behind the Boba Fett one. And the Luke one looks like a character from Paprika.

Myself, I’d like to see one with Jabba and about a 32GB storage capacity. Ha!

  4. Why does the Stormtrooper have ears?

Mimoco has been making these for years. I tend to prefer their artist series myself.

  5. Haven’t you heard? Anime is the latest craze. It’s even taken over the Olympics…

  6. What? The Happy Tree Friends were busy? Not the right atmosphere or attitude for the Olympics. Now that’d be a risky choice! Ha.

  7. I think I like the Darth Vader and Stormtrooper ones the best.

  8. I just love how you are pulling the tops of their heads off. I just get this sick image of Hannibal Lector sitting down for dinner with Princess Leia after opening up her skull. ;)

  9. Heck, on that note, where is the HIGHLANDER series of flash drives?

Oh yea, I forgot, there can be only one.
